Food as Medicine
Dark chocolate contains the antioxidants called cocoa
flavanols. They are important to
maintain the health of our brains as we get older.
Cacao content is the amount of pure cacao products like chocolate liquor, cocoa
butter, and cocoa powder used in the chocolate. The higher the percentage of
cacao the more antioxidants the chocolate contains and less sugar.
Bananas are rich in potassium and magnesium. They also
help to strengthen the stomach lining and are good for comforting indigestion.
